Lisa spent a morning with the Rush Soccer Club donating her time to the annual giving project, Rake Up Boise

Marilyn Glidden, Claims & Compliance Auditor, spent her time volunteering at Three Oaks Elementary School campus. 

A benefit was held for the no-kill shelter, Green Co. Humane Society, located in Monroe, Wisconsin on Saturday, July 13, 2014.

Jana and several of the Rush Soccer Club ladies (including her daughter) joined the CCG farm staff in preparing beds for upcoming plantings.

This month Marilyn continued her dedication to the Animal Refuge Center. She volunteered and spent the day at the ARC’s 1st Annual Saint Catrick’s Family Fun Day.

Lisa MacKenzie, our Dashboard Manager, volunteered her time at the Community Information and Resource Fair at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship representing the Women's and Children's Alliance.

Working with palliative care on a business compliance level is much different for me than the volunteer work I perform with Boise’s Life’s Doors Hospice program. I started with the group last summer and shortly after, volunteered with my first terminally ill patient

Lisa MacKenzie spent time volunteering at an annual event to “Rake Up Boise.”  Every year individuals in the community donate their time to rake leaves to help the elderly and disabled unable to complete this work on their own. 

Each year, students at Highlands elementary participate in 'learning service' within the community. This year, Jana and the 4th grade class became acquainted with the Free Wheel Mission here in Boise.

Marilyn and her son spend many hours each month helping pets at the Animal Refuge Center (ARC) in her community. Recently, the rains caused massive flooding and the shelter was severely damaged. Marilyn's dedication to the animals and keeping the shelter open was quickly realized as she recruited her son, husband, and other concerned citizens to make a difference.  

Jana attended a monthly supper-club to raise money for the new CCG home for culinary training. It was special night showcasing creative dishes crafted by the students along with learning more about how they found the program.

Jana and her family spent a beautiful June Sunday working with other community volunteers to "Paint the Town" for needy homes and neighborhood improvements.

During the month of March, Marilyn was busy giving back to the community helping the Girl Scout organization.  She helped many young ladies sell cookies, managing money, and collecting donations for "Mints for the Military".  

GCS is a unique place to work, as our employees are encouraged to take a paid ½ day off each month to work and give back to our local communities. This month Lisa continued her work as a Life Skills instructor at the Women’s & Children’s Alliance (WCA).

The GCS team continues their great work with the GCS community outreach program to help enhance the local communities in which we live.  

The GCS team was excited about their community involvement and contributions during this 2012 holiday season.  

The Boise GCS staff takes pride in giving back to local communities. Jana and Lisa spent time volunteering for the Habitat for Humanity organization painting the interior of a home.  It was so much fun and gratifying knowing your hard work goes to helping others in need.

Marilyn continues to enrich her local community by giving back her time. Last Saturday, Marilyn and her son participated in an Adoption Event in Fort Myers for the Animal Refuge Center (ARC) and the Golden Retriever Rescue Association.

Nicole Benson, our GCS Audit Manager, has been volunteering her time this fall to the Life’s Door organization. Life’s Door hospice assists individuals with life-limiting illness and end of life comfort and care.

GCS continues to give back to the community! Lisa worked at the farms for Create Common Good harvesting food last week and had tons of fun working towards the mission of the organization.
