We are proud to share our profits each year with the communities for which we live and work. This has been a part of our company mission from day one.

Emma spent time in November volunteering with the Preston Historical Society who works to perpetuate the history of the Town of Preston, Connecticut and preserve documents and records of history.  The non-profit organization held a trivia night to raise funds for restoration of the Long Society Meetinghouse.  

Lisa and her daughter spent time volunteering at a Wild Hearts Idaho event! Lisa helped with a fly-fishing event and several girls had their first opportunity fly-fishing.

Nicole spent time this July volunteering with the Timberline High School Marching Band students in their annual fund raising effort through community car washes that are hosted by local area businesses.

Emma began volunteering at Kitty Harbor, Inc. in Griswold, CT in April.  Kitty Harbor is a no-kill non-profit cat sanctuary funded entirely by donations.  It provides a loving home for abandoned, unwanted, and abused felines.  They reunite found cats with their missing humans and find new homes for the homeless. 

Jana and her family attended the 2019 Share Your Heart Ball benefiting Camp Rainbow Gold.   Camp Rainbow Gold provides cancer survivors with an escape from the rigors of their illness. 

Jana spent five days in February as a Media volunteer for the 2019 FIS World Cup in Park City.  She was part of over 400 volunteer that hosted the international event for skiing and snowboarding athletes.

Lisa and her daughter worked with leaders at 28thStreet and Wild Hearts to host a fundraiser. Participants had the opportunity to do a team building activity that shed light on elements of privilege in the world and the importance of a mindset of generosity and giving for all. They also got to participate in an exercise class with drumsticks, POUND!  

Lisa spent time supporting her local community by participating in Rake Up Boise.  Rake Up Boise helps seniors and disabled individuals with Fall clean up.  Lisa and her daughter worked with several of the Rush soccer team members to help in their local community.  The day was beautiful and she enjoyed lending a helping hand.  

Jana attended the opening of the St. Luke’s Visual Care Center housing the Telehealth center for the health system.  The sophisticated remote patient management system will allow real-time monitoring of patients both in the hospital and at home.  The TeleICU (EICU) provides live interactive audio/visual capabilities to manage critical patients and determine the need and timing of patient transfer.  

Jana attended the annual fundraiser for Camp Rainbow Gold held in Sun Valley Idaho.   This annual event raises a majority of the funds that allow patients, families, and siblings to attended summer camps and have reprieve from managing an illness.  We are so proud to be a part of this incredible organization. 

Emma spent an afternoon helping out at the American Cancer Society’s Boise Relay for Life on June 23, 2018.  She helped check in teams, register new participants, and answer questions about the day’s activities.  Participants relayed and took part in activities to remember loved ones lost and honor survivors of all types of cancer. 

Nicole spent time this March developing and presenting her first AARP Knowledge Adventures workshop to enrollees on “What You Need to Know About Medicare”.  A class designed by Nicole for AARP attendees to educate the community on the Medicare coverage, benefits, and choices ahead of them. 

Lisa volunteered with her daughter’s 5th grade class at the Drug Free Idaho Red Ribbon Rally. The message of finding your Natural High instead of the choice to try drugs was incredible. Many students were telling me their Natural High (soccer, music, skiing, scootering, drawing).

Emma spent time volunteering at the Idaho Humane Society’s mobile adoption event in Eagle, Idaho.  The goal of these events is to find a loving home for shelter dogs.  Each month the IHS finds home for approximately 600 animals! 

Lisa spent time with her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop volunteering for the Just for Girls organization.  Just for Girls has a mission to provide washable feminine hygiene products, and to provide education to women around the world without resources for these products. 

As part of the Coalition of Drug Free Idaho, Jana and many other local business professionals helped to organize this incredible event.  1200 4th - 6th graders showed up to learn more about a Natural High lifestyle and the benefits of keeping drugs out of their lives.

Lisa spent time volunteering at the Idaho Parents Unlimited Pop-Up Conference in the Zot Artz room assisting children with special health care needs participate in a day filled with art activities.  Idaho Parents Unlimited is an organization with a goal to assist families of children with disabilities and special health care needs. 

Marilyn’s daughter is a Girl Scout and her troop meets at a local church in a room that is donated for that purpose. So in order to give something back to the church they collected donations and made baked goods to sell throughout the day.
