Marylin Welcomes WWII Vets

Marilyn had the pleasure of welcoming WWII vets home from their latest trip. Every month or two the Collier County honor flight sends veterans from Marilyn’s area to Washington to visit national monuments, which is accomplished by fund raising. Marilyn tries to get a large group to send them off on their flight and another group to welcome them back home.  Usually there are roughly 1000 people! This program gives veterans a chance to do something that they otherwise would not be able to do. It is a very emotional experience.
